Now released! The xNURBS plug-in

Announcing the release of xNURBS Rhino Plug-in V2.0! This groundbreaking NURBS technique has unlimited capacities for solving NURBS and generating high-quality surfaces based on an energy-minimization method.

The key features are:
  • Unlimited capacity for solving NURBS: Its optimization algorithm can solve virtually any NURBS surface on the fly (regardless of how complex the constraints are).
  • High-quality surfaces: Its optimization algorithm uses an energy-minimization method to generate the smoothest NURBS surfaces that meet all the inputted constraints.
  • Easy-to-use: It uses one simple UI for all kinds of NURBS modeling.
  • Native CAD surfaces: xNURBS generates native CAD surfaces, i.e., trimmed/untrimmed NURBS surfaces, which can be directly used for any CAD modeling operations.
The xNURBS plug-in is currently available in English, German, French, and Japanese.

You need to explain what this does that cannot be done in standard Rhino.
