Now released! The xNURBS plugin

Announcing the release of xNURBS Rhino Plugin V2.0! This groundbreaking NURBS technique has unlimited capacities for solving NURBS and generating high-quality surfaces based on an energy-minimization method.

The key features are:
  • Unlimited capacity for solving NURBS: Its optimization algorithm can solve virtually any NURBS surface on the fly (regardless of how complex the constraints are).
  • High-quality surfaces: Its optimization algorithm uses an energy-minimization method to generate the smoothest NURBS surfaces that meet all the inputted constraints.
  • Easy-to-use: It uses one simple UI for all kinds of NURBS modeling.
  • Native CAD surfaces: xNURBS generates native CAD surfaces, i.e., trimmed/untrimmed NURBS surfaces, which can be directly used for any CAD modeling operations.
The xNURBS plugin is currently available in English, German, French, and Japanese.

You need to explain what this does that cannot be done in standard Rhino.
