Emergent Futures V1.0 webinar by DesignMorphine

Emergent Futures V1.0 - Free Webinar
January 31st and February 1, 2026 - 3 PM to 7 PM UTC

Emergent Futures V1.0 explores how generative AI is transforming architectural design. The workshop focuses on using AI tools—Rhino, Blender, and ComfyUI—to create concept-driven 3D scenes. We'll discuss how today’s mix of AI, 3D modeling, and scripting empowers architects to design not just structures, but complex systems rich in relationships, narratives, and detail—often sacrificed to deadlines and project constraints. We’ll examine how mastering tools enables freedom in solving design problems. To test this, we’ll develop a concept with AI and transform it into a 3D environment, treating AI as a co-author, or even the author of the project’s core ideas. While this may sound dystopian, we’ll approach it playfully.

Participants will generate AI imagery of architecture, landscapes, characters, and objects within one cohesive concept, then model, texture, and light the scene for rendering. The workshop emphasizes creative exploration over technical drafting and concludes by materializing our ideas into a single unified 3D scene.

Rhino User Webinar: Advancing Computational Design Workflows at MORPH

Rhino User Webinar
Advancing Computational Design Workflows at MORPH
25 September 2024 at 4:00 pm (CEST)

MORPH creates and materializes innovative solutions across design, architecture, and engineering, handling everything from small-scale interior spaces and detailed designs to large-scale projects like stadiums, Master Plans, feasibility studies, and construction.

The webinar Advancing Computational Design Workflows at MORPH explores the increasing complexity of computational design workflows, spanning from small-scale concepts to extensive, interdisciplinary projects. As this complexity grows, maintaining flexibility becomes a significant challenge.

The presentation highlights recent advancements at MORPH, including optimizing their Rhino plugin development process with the new Rhino 8 ScriptEditor. It also showcases improvements in interoperability, particularly with Speckle, demonstrating MORPH’s commitment to enhancing design integration and efficiency.

About the speakers:

  • Jon Tolosa, Leon Brohmann, and Sergio Rodriguez are part of the Computational Design Team at MORPH's R&D department in the heart of Madrid. With a background in architecture and research they are passionate about pushing boundaries and tackling challenges enthusiastically.

Grasshopper: A Modeling Software Redefining The Design Process (by Parametric Architecture)

"Grasshopper was created in a perspective to extend in those area where Rhino could not! It is a versatile plugin that takes design complexities to a new-found level by exceeding the limit beyond Rhino. Although, Rhino is a strong software tool in itself that has the capability of editing, analysing, and dealing with some of the most intense of architectural design and detailing."
