Konstru and VisualARQ team up to deliver interoperability solution

Konstru and VisualArq have teamed up to make it easier for you to upload, download, and translate models between both. Seamlessly work with Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structures, Dynamo or Excel by running Grasshopper Scripts for Konstru.

Upload a VisualARQ Model to Konstru:

The process is simple. You have a model in Rhino made of VisualARQ walls, slabs, columns, and beams.

  1. Log in or sign up in Konstru and create a new model.
  2. Open the Upload VA to Konstru file in Grasshopper that you can find on this link.
  3. Select the Select Model button to choose the project in Konstru where you want to send the model.
  4. Put the Enable button to True in the definition every time you need to send all VisualARQ objects to Konstru.

Konstru will identify each element by its type, as well as its information, and will get the full model ready to send to other programs.

Download a Model from Konstru to VisualARQ:

In this case, you can import a model previously uploaded to your Konstru account into Rhino.

  1. Open the Download Konstru to VA file in Grasshopper that you can find on this link.
  2. Select the Select Model button to choose the project in Konstru that you want to import into Rhino.
  3. Bake the geometry whenever you want to see it as workable VisualARQ objects in Rhino.

All menus for controlling madCAM and generated tool paths are inside Rhino and stored together with your model.
  • Developed for toolmaking (Mould and Die) as well as for prototype productions.
  • Generates a non-collision toolpath with excellent cutting action.
  • Used where demand for accuracy and perfect surface smoothness is required.
  • Meant for the NC-operator who demands an easy-to-use and efficient system.
