ShapeDiver supports scalable vector graphics (svg). Unlike bitmap images, vector-based images can be scaled and distorted without deteriorating their quality. They are particularly well suited for parametric modeling.

Their first creation, Portee, is a flexible shelf system designed for record collections. The 3D product configurator lets customers pick shelves tailored to their needs.
ShapeDiver is a web service for publishing parametric 3D data. It is run by ShapeDiver GmbH, a limited liability company registered in Vienna, Austria. Alexander Schiftner, Mathias Höbinger, and Mathieu Huard founded it in 2015.
