The food4Rhino webinar series: Procedural Compute - Thursday 8th October at 5 PM CEST

Wind Comfort Simulation in the Cloud with Procedural Compute and Grasshopper

Procedural Compute is a cloud platform to use computational resources. The system is tailored for handling multiphysics simulation jobs used in the AEC industry. Procedural Compute seamlessly integrates with Grasshopper to keep the simulation workflow as efficient as possible.

In this workshop, you'll be guided through the setup of an outdoor comfort simulation, using Procedural Compute to run the CFD simulations. The workshop requires no previous knowledge about CFD and wind simulations. Using Grasshopper, You will set up a case and compute the wind comfort around a project from the Architecture Studio 3XN. The project is situated at the harbor front in Aarhus, Denmark.

SpeakerChristian Kongsgaard is an architectural engineer focused on computational environmental design and streamlining building performance simulations. He is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder at Procedural.
