F# scripting for the 3D model of Louvre Abu Dhabi TechTalk - June 26, 2018 - Vienna
Goswin Rothenthal will show how he used F# and Rhinoceros to construct an associative digital 3D model for the manufacturing of the cladding of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Dome.
Using Python scripting or visual programming inside CAD apps is common. Goswin will show how hosting the FSharp Interactive REPL inside another app can improve the scripting experience with type checking, error highlighting and autocompletion.
Goswin is an architect, façade engineer and software developer working at Waagner Biro. He specializes in the design, analysis, optimization, and automation of architectural façades of non-regular geometries.
