Python for Rhino 5.0 and OS X available

The first version of Python scripting is now available in the latest work-in-progress version of Rhino 5.0 for 32- and 64-bit Windows and Rhino for Mac OS X.

Python is a powerful scripting language. The key features are:

  • The same Python scripts will run on Rhino for Windows and Rhino for Mac OS X without modification.
  • The Python language provides most of the functionality found in more advanced languages like C# and VB.Net. while at the same time, being much easier to use and debug.

For more details, watch Steve's video above and visit this wiki page.

That's fantastic news, have tested it out pretty thoroughly and works relatively well. So nice to instruct with methods now. Keep up the excellent work!, much appreciated. Can't wait until all functions are operable.
