Transportation Design Competition in Argentina

Ready, set, design!

McNeel Argentina has announced a digital design competition focusing on transportation. The goal of the contest is to enable designers to show off their 3D skills using Rhino.


The winner will receive a scholarship to the Transportation Design Course organized by McNeel Argentina and taught by designer, Alan Mattana. Learn more on the Autoblog site.



Contest is open to individuals over 18 years of age. No group entries allowed.
All entries must be submitted no later than September 24, 2010.

Scan&Solve for Rhino, new structural plugin

Scan&Solvefor Rhino is a new plugin from Intact Solutions that completely automates basic structural testing of Rhino solids.

Pick the material, choose restraints and specify loads on the faces of the solid model. Select the go button to see the predicted performance (strength, weakness) of your shape. No simplification, healing, translating, or meshing is needed.

"The Business of Aura" exhibition opening - NYC


















The Business of Aura
is an exhibition hosted in two locations, Elga Wimmer Gallery and Broadway Gallery, curated by Kelsey Harrington. It includes painting, drawing, photography, sculptural prototypes, and installation. The show examines the potential of studio processes to produce aura.
