Fluidic Expressions V2.0 Webinar by DesignMorphine

Fluidic Expressions V2.0 constitutes a deep dive into both the conceptual understanding and the advanced design thinking behind truly futuristic and fluid architectural expressions by way of Rhino 3d, particularly with the logics of SubD modeling. The journey takes one through the exquisite complexities of visionary organic forms, from whence the topological intersections emerge to give birth to spatial experiences of a transformative nature.

This edition treats the synthesis of dynamic geometries into spatial narratives that immerse an environment in the highest realms of technical competence and emotional connectivity.
We will delve deep and unravel the mysteries of topological fluid intersections, a design philosophy that altogether reinvents the conception, shaping, and sensation of space by learning about edge flow and surface control of complex SubD modeling.

This DesignMorphine webinar will gift you with tangible design strategies as well as cutting-edge methodologies, designed with the intent to further expand your creative power, sharpen your architectural sense, and transport your expression to higher planes of clarity and flexibility.

Astroid 7000 Spaceball 3D Mouse - new Rhino integration

Spatial Freedom, based in Sydney, Australia, is launching a crowdfunding campaign for its new 15-button wireless Astroid 7000 Spaceball 3D Mouse on Indiegogo.

Created by the inventor of the original Spaceball, the astroid 7000, along with its Rhino plug-in, will deliver advanced functionality at around half the price of existing products.

    Live Interactive Spaceball Flythroughs

Discover a new, dynamic way to explore and present your designs with the astroid spaceball and its flythrough capability powered by the astroid on Rhino 8 plug-in. This technology allows users to navigate seamlessly in and around 3D models while capturing high-quality, real-time animations via screen recording.

To see this already in action, check out the Astroid 7000 Spaceball 3D Mouse prelaunch video on Indiegogo!

    How It Works
    • Fluid Navigation: The astroid provides intuitive pan, zoom and spin navigation, allowing designers to glide effortlessly through and around their models.
    • Screen Capture: Live motion is recorded in real-time to create high-impact flythrough animations that showcase spatial relationships, form, and design intent.
    • Marketing & Communication Benefits: These recorded flythroughs can be used to generate engaging promotional assets, aiding in pitch presentations, social media campaigns, and design reviews. They also enhance collaboration by helping colleagues, partners, and clients visualize designs with greater clarity.
    Use Cases
    • Product Demonstrations: Showcase key design features in a compelling and interactive way.
    • Architectural Walkthroughs: Navigate interiors and exteriors with precision, highlighting spatial layouts.
    • Engineering Design Reviews: Easily communicate and review internal and external design structure and intent.
    • Creative Marketing Content: Convert interactive flythroughs into polished videos for advertising and investor presentations.

Getting to know... PENTAURA: Parametric Timber Structures!

In this ShapeDiver interview, you'll learn how PENTAURA, a timber shell configurator developed by CODA, leverages Grasshopper to power a generative system that balances user input with engineering constraints, Kangaroo2 for form-finding, and Karamba3D for structural validation. Once the design is finalized, an automated workflow generates CNC- and laser-ready fabrication files, enabling fast and precise manufacturing through a distributed European network of robotic timber workshops.
