Emergent Futures V1.0 webinar by DesignMorphine

Emergent Futures V1.0 - Free Webinar
January 31st and February 1, 2026 - 3 PM to 7 PM UTC

Emergent Futures V1.0 explores how generative AI is transforming architectural design. The workshop focuses on using AI tools—Rhino, Blender, and ComfyUI—to create concept-driven 3D scenes. We'll discuss how today’s mix of AI, 3D modeling, and scripting empowers architects to design not just structures, but complex systems rich in relationships, narratives, and detail—often sacrificed to deadlines and project constraints. We’ll examine how mastering tools enables freedom in solving design problems. To test this, we’ll develop a concept with AI and transform it into a 3D environment, treating AI as a co-author, or even the author of the project’s core ideas. While this may sound dystopian, we’ll approach it playfully.

Participants will generate AI imagery of architecture, landscapes, characters, and objects within one cohesive concept, then model, texture, and light the scene for rendering. The workshop emphasizes creative exploration over technical drafting and concludes by materializing our ideas into a single unified 3D scene.

Generative AI for Architects - Online Course

This course is for anyone interested in AI image generation. It's suitable for beginners and those with some experience. It will help you explore creative workflows.

Join Dr. Abdulrahman Ayman, an Assistant Professor of Architecture and Design Computing at Ain Shams University, for this online course that explores concepts related to artificial intelligence in image generation.

Begin your journey with ComfyUI to create workflows that transform text into images, images into other images, and even into 3D and video. You'll learn to manage checkpoints, samplers, schedulers, LoRAs, and advanced upscaling techniques within a user-friendly visual node interface.

Discover how to modify and enhance images, transfer styles, apply custom models, and experiment with Flux and SDXL workflows. Gain hands-on experience with 3D generation tools like TripoSR and Hunyuan3D, and run ComfyUI from Grasshopper to generate rendered images directly from the viewport.
