Hosted by Aerotak’s Henrik Mikkelsen and Astrid Kjærbølling, this event will provide an in-depth look at how CAD and CFD are revolutionizing various industries, with particular focus on the maritime and shipping industry.
The webinar will start with an introduction to Aerotak, going on to the nexus between state-of-the-art CFD simulations and professional CAD.
The webinar will feature two distinct cases wherein Aerotak has the potential of changing the way the maritime and life science industries progress.
Speakers:
Henrik Mikkelsen, PhD, is a Partner at Aerotak and a Senior Fluid Mechanics Specialist. He has a background in Naval Architecture and previously worked at OSK-ShipTech, where he became Head of CFD. His PhD from Denmark’s Technical University focused on ship hydrodynamics, with an emphasis on applying CFD to real-world scenarios.
Astrid Kjærbølling is Aerotak’s CAD expert, with ten years of experience with computer-assisted design, going from FORCE Technology’s Hydro- and Aerodynamics department to Aerotak as a draftsman. Astrid has in-depth experience with a variety of CAD software, and is an expert on Rhino, using the platform to make intricate technical drawings for a wide range of clients.
