Pratt Live! Virtual Telethon, April 24

April 24, 6 PM (Pacific)

Each year, Pratt Fine Arts Center produces a fundraising event to support a unique blend of visual arts education and programming for artists, students, makers, and curious learners of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

On Saturday, April 24, Pratt will present an innovative, online fundraiser. Emceed by Ian Lindsay, Pratt Live! A Virtual Telethon includes live-stream artist demonstrations, a limited live art auction, a silent auction, and a delightful dining experience. All enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.

The event will also highlight a collaboration between artists Gabriel-Bello Diaz (Pratt Youth & Teen Program Manager) and Fumi Amano (Pratt Glass Studio Manager). Gabriel and Fumi will use Rhinoceros to design a digitally printed form; this form will then be used to create the mold for a cast glass art object. The process represents a new frontier for their organization. As an arts center steeped in traditional hands-on processes, they are excited to explore and share new technologies that may help artists in the community expand their creative vision and possibilities.
