Unleash the Power of Computational Design
10 July 2024 at 4:00 pm (CEST)

Discover the transformative potential of computational design in the "Unleash the Power of Computational Design" webinar. Hosted by Moon Rabbit Adaptive Lab, this event will provide an in-depth look at how computational design is revolutionizing various industries.

The webinar will start with an introduction to Moon Rabbit Adaptive Lab, detailing its mission, vision, and the journey leading to its establishment. Following the introduction, the webinar will address the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in building strong teams of computational designers. It will explore how diverse skills and perspectives drive innovation and lead to robust design solutions.

Two notable projects will be showcased to illustrate the power of computational design. The first project is a soft robotic hand developed for ETH Zurich and Inkbit VCJ technology. The second project involves a claw cleat extension for a sprint spike designed for Karsten Warlhom in collaboration with the PUMA Innovation Team, highlighting the computational design techniques applied, performance improvements, and the impact on athletic performance.

This webinar is designed for design engineers, professionals, students, educators, and industry leaders interested in leveraging computational design to revolutionize their approach to design and engineering.

About the speaker:
  • Jesus Marini Parissi is the founder and computational design engineer at Moon Rabbit Adaptive Lab, bringing over 10 years of professional experience to the table. He holds an MSc in Design Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Specializing in data-driven computational design workflows and the advancement of CAE applications, Jesus focuses on performance sports, fashion, and biomechanics.
