"Barcelona is full of modernist and organic architectural ornaments, which historically have been a source of inspiration for jewelry. Chesco Díaz has been inspired by different architectural elements of the city to create a jewelry collection designed and modeled with SubD in Rhinoceros 7.
In this webinar, we will explore some of the pieces in his collection, as well as the modeling techniques used to make them."
Chesco Díaz started as an artisan jeweler in 1996 at the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. In 2002 he began modeling with Rhino for manufacturing, using milling technology.
In 2009 he began training in RhinoGold in institutions such as the JORGC and the IGE, as well as such companies as Tiffany's, Tous, and Fossil. Since 2012 he is an authorized Rhino trainer (ART), giving 3D modeling and printing services. Since 2018 he has been an official distributor of Gemvision Spain and of Asiga 3D printers.
Currently, he continues to give training while experimenting and developing his jewelry lines in Studio Chesco.
