Algomad 2013 – Focus on Sagrada Familia
Algomad 2013 – Focus on Sagrada Familia will take place from July 3-6, 2013, at the ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. The seminar will focus on the design, fabrication, and construction work developed using parametric and generative computational methods at the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. These problems will be used to teach the digital design methods that are the core of the seminar.
The temple’s technical team is committed to the Algomad organization and will serve as supporters and guides throughout the workshops. Sagrada Familia will be open to the attendees for guided tours so they can see for themselves the design and construction work developed at the temple. The workshops will take place at ELISAVA’s beautiful facilities on Barcelona's world-famous Las Ramblas.
The seminar leaders will not try to speculate on how the tools under discussion will be used but will instruct in the operation and possible applications in the architecture, engineering and design fields.
The program includes workshops and conferences.
The workshops and conferences will be held in Spanish.
Ees bitchin'!
