Online Rhino and Grasshopper courses are available

Authorized Rhino Trainer, Akiyo Matsuoka, has added two online classes to her current course offerings. Do you want to learn more about Rhino? Grasshopper? Register for one of her classes today!

Intro to Rhino 3D Modeling

May 19-June 9 (7 sessions)

This online class is live, just like being in a classroom session. Small class size, hands-on and interactive class.

The class is open to all industry professionals to build a solid foundation with Rhino 6. You'll learn to create and edit accurate free-form 3D NURBS models. The class covers most of Rhino's functionality, including the most advanced surfacing commands.

We will use jewelry as geometry. However, professionals in other fields can benefit from the class.

You will learn step-by-step 2D drawings and 3D modeling with various exercises and strategies. Topics go in-depth and will be able to get a solid foundation of Rhino after the class.

To register: Email Akiyo Matsuoka or call (646) 241-0045.

June 15-June 24 (4 sessions)

Learn and explore how Grasshopper generates unprecedented fluidity and automated tasks to go further in the design process, allowing for much greater speed with working on complicated and repeating forms. Grasshopper creates parametric modeling to automate production, new forms, shapes, patterns, and your own interfaces. It is only possible with the algorithmic modeling. The class covers List management and introduces Date Trees.

We will work on jewelry projects. However, design professionals from all industries can benefit from the class.

No knowledge of programming or scripting required.
Basic Rhino knowledge is required.
