McNeel Europe collaborates in H2020 project -V4Design

McNeel Europe is collaborating in Horizon 2020 research projects funded by the European Commission. The project V4Design repurposes existing multimedia content (images, videos) by developing novel approaches for 3D reconstruction and 3D modeling.

For Rhino, McNeel will develop a 3D objects library from 3D reconstruction enhanced with semantics, explanatory text descriptions, and textures. This library will be integrated with Rhino and Unity to inspire the design, architecture, as well as 3D and VR game industries.

Consortium partners are from academia industries.
