IrisVR published a new plug-in to export Grasshopper files (and Rhino files by extension) to OBJ format, which IrisVR Prospect supports.
Create your own virtual reality experiences for architecture, engineering, construction, and design in seconds. Use the Grasshopper plug-in to launch IrisVR Prospect, visualize data and review your parametric design in VR using the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive.
This plug-in can export surfaces, meshes and BReps, apply a material and set a layer for each object. Read the materials from the Rhino file in use or create the materials from scratch using the Human components for Grasshopper.
To get started, create an account on IrisVR, download the plug-in and visit the support page with information about the system and software requirements and the instructions on how to use our components.
IrisVR would like to hear from you! If you have any feedback that you would like to share, please visit IrisVR's Grasshopper forum.
