"We are very happy and proud here at the studio to announce that Project EGG is complete. We have cooperated with hundreds of enthusiast 3D printers from
all over the world in order to build the largest community 3D printed project to
date. It's here and it's really lovely. The first exhibition in the Netherlands
during Dutch Design Week was a success.
We've worked for more than a year to have it 3D printed. One of the many
nice things about EGG is that it is totally made in Rhino and Grasshopper. And
as I said yesterday to someone who asked about which 3D program I used and why,
my answer was: How on earth could I have done this with any other program: a
building consisting of 4760 different and unique stones.
So thank you, all 3D printers and all other people involved and McNeel
for this rocking software!"
