What caused the cracks in Michelangelo's David? This video demonstrates stress simulation of Michelangelo's David under the influence of gravity. The simulation was originally performed in 2007 using custom coded software. Today, the same simulation can be performed readily in Rhino using Scan&Solve for Meshes.
