How did they do that?

Naval architect Paul Bieker and Eric Jolley are partners in a Seattle based design office, Bieker Boats. Eric, a long-time Rhino user, provides the details on how they developed and built Shearwater, a high-efficiency power cruiser, in the latest issue (#115) of Professional BoatBuilder (page 162).


As for the other project they don't get to talk about much... Paul has been in charge of structural design for the BMW Oracle racing team for its past two America's Cup campaigns. Unfortunately, nobody is talking in detail about how it was designed and built. Here are Paul's comments.
