New 'BoxEdit' Labs Plug-in Available

The BoxEdit plug-in for Rhino 4.0 will allow you to numerically size, scale, position, and rotate objects based on their bounding box. This plug-in requries Rhino 4.0 SR3 or greater.

I downloaded BoxEdit and really like the added functionality. Two additions I would like to see is a number slider and the ability to keep the inputted values instead of zeroing them out after the transformations are applied for the scale and rotate fields.

Hmmm... I had imagined this would work on each individual object's boundingbox, not the group as a whole (unless they were grouped). I'd like to be able to, for example, rotate a bunch of objects 45 degrees, based upon their boundingboxes, without having to select them one at a time to do this.

Any possibility of making it optional to transform them as a group versus transforming them from their individual boundingboxes?

And if so, it'd be nice if it paid attention to groups, like the align command does.

We are working on an updated version that will allow for individual object transformations as well as all selected objects together.
